Always rememebr that each and every right that we have carries with it a set of responsibilities.

If you take the right to freedon of speech as an example - everyone has this right but the responsibilty is that we stay within the law while we express our freedom of speech. We should also consider the results of any actions that may hurt or offend an individual or group.

1. Buy a dog - with parent's consent if under the age of 12.
2. Right to receive medical treatment from GP or hospital.
3. Get a car or motorcycle licence at the age of 17.
4. Receive a state education from the age of 5 to 16 (18 if appropriate).
5. The right to hold a ticket for and borrow books from a public library.
6. The right to use public transport.
7. The right to pay for and use public leisure facilities, eg. parks and swimming baths.
8. Buy fireworks at the age of 16.
9. Receive family planning advice and contraception from the age of 16 (under the age of 16 with parental consent or in special circumstances.
