Day 17: Gary visits a specialist biker clothing shop for children

Gary in bikers shopLast week Gary saw a little girl at Rugby riding to school on the back of her daddy's motorbike. She had a very pretty pink coat on but it wasn't a motorcycle jacket and although she was wearing a helmet she was only in trainers and wasn't wearing any gloves. Gary is not yet allowed on the Police motorbikes because he doesn't have any protective clothing and he is cross when he sees parents letting their children ride unprotected on motorbikes. Today he has been to Baby Biker a shop in Leamington Spa which specialises in motorcycle clothing for children from newborn to teenagers. Can you see him among the leather jackets?

Gary on quad bikeSome children have their own quad bikes or mini moto motorbikes that they use in the garden or on fields if they have permission. They need protective clothing too. Can you see Gary on his quad bike?

Baby biker are big supporters of the police Bikesafe campaign and their equipment certainly helps to reduce child casualties which is particularly important. You can read more about baby biker on their website

Gary says to biker parents, "In their early years they still need the gear!"
